That motor has no neutral and you turn the motor 180 degrees for reverse. As for not seeing water pumping, look in the middle of the lower unit for a heavy mist.

When done right, there is only supposed to be 30 ft of rope. The tube is only supposed to get 2 feet of air and then the driver backs off the throttle. Top speed is only supposed to be 20. The problem I have would be trusting the driver lol
