Powertech SS 4 blade 13 pitch

wtf is a trophy sport prop? Is that a merc prop? What is the application? What boat, motor, use, intended purpose? # of blades, diameter, pitch, etc? What are your goals? In short, this prop is better and you should buy it

Powertech SS 4 blade 13 pitch

It's tough to compare the two setups depending on how much cup your prop has. This prop has SO MUCH cup that it only had 8% slip at WOT!! Speed is/was not my goal at all. If speed was a goal I could've raised the motor higher to get more prop out of the water for more rpm and more speed or...

Powertech SS 4 blade 13 pitch

I loved it, NEVER blew out. Used on an old bass tracker III 1648 with a merc 50 on a 6" hydraulic jack plate. Never lowered the jp from full up. Ran about 31mph at about 4800rpm which if I remember correctly was 8% slip!! I should have gone higher with the motor and added a remote water pickup

    F%@&ing no spill gas jugs

I must've loudly hated these things too, because when my neighbor sold her house after her husband died she put all the gas cans out at the curb during the day while I was at work. My wife excitedly texted me that she grabbed all of them for me! What a woman!!

    Reading a river

All great advice. Just keep in mind that the Mississippi and Minnesota rivers up here by us are tame by river standards

    Trolling motor setup

What are you guys all using? I've got a foot controlled 55lb minkota that I like, but I'm not so good controlling with the foot and I've seen so many people that have a bow mount but hand controlled. What gives?

Formula for motor height when offsetting?

So you got your prop tuned to the motor height you had and now you want to move the motor up ? When you do move the motor up to get the cavitation plate above the bottom of the boat you're going to have to retune the prop most likely. If you're already having Blowout problems in turns raising...

Formula for motor height when offsetting?

To me like your primary concern is running shallow. Sounds like what you really need is more cupping and or more pitch so you can raise the motor higher. this will alleviate your blow out problems

Formula for motor height when offsetting?

It's not clear to me what your goal is? Is it simply top speed? Is it being able to run shLlow rivers?
