They said it looks like a Arkansas Traveler...however that was also a dead end. Everyone has been great on helping me out. Just want to say that. I never got a response from contacting the owners of boats like mine selling on the web abroad. So the search continues. 8)

Part of the reason why we all pick up these old boats is to find some history , nostalgia etc. Isn't it ? That's why I do anyway. Or else just go get a "cookie cutter " modern boat. I do need paper work if I want a jet outboard ( which I do ) so that's why.

It has been difficult tracking down information about this boat. I think the detail at the stern will be the key to id this boat. I have looked at 100s of photos trying to find a match. Looks like it did have a windscreen at some point.

Has any one made or know where to purchase a variable speed control switch for a Minn Kotta Endurance motor? I would like to have control of the speed setting from a remote switch not located on the tiller handle. Does this exist? Thanks !

Finished up the paint today. Just some touch ups and paint some of the hardware afterwards. Transom pieces and floor section cut tonight. Just need to cut some floor supports for more rigid mounting. It has so many dents. The colour is much better in daylight, my garage has poor lighting.

spayed the primer down on the outer hull tonight. Top coat will go on tomorrow. I can't seem to find dark green boat paint in my area. Lots of army green but no dark Forrest green.

I took a chance. I will probably regret it but I sealed up the rivets with 3m 5200. Doesn't leak at all after the leak test. Might not hold up to log though. The large patch in the middle inst actually a leaky area. I just wanted to even out a bad weld area. Primer tomorrow. Iam going...

I gave all the rivets on the bottom of the boat a pass over with a dremel sanding tool. All rivets are clean and bare metal. I purchased some 3m 5200 and sikaflex 291. The latter is for mounting Scotty mounts and oar locks etc. I keep this updated on the progress. Tomorrow the inside of...
