Me too. Which is fine, most days I wouldn't be out fishing for one reason or another.

    Stringer Drain Holes before Foam?

If the manufacturer is still around I'd call and see what they say. My vee hull has the same issue.

How to determine the floor height location?

Got a pic? I lay something straight across the benches to see if they're even and use them as a measuring point.

The rod storage used up a lot of brain cells and I was already low on em. Got the socks off amazon. Home Depot had a nice stainless latch. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F37LJ5W/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Looks like I needed a little more ACM so I got a sheet of 3mm for $65. Also using it to box in deck storage. If all it needed was a live well I could have doubled it up to make 6mm. Storage will probably get vinyl inside.

It's that time of year to work on the boat again. So far I like how it's turning out. Got these hatches off Amazon a year or two ago. Seems like they were about $30 ea. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MUDJC18/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Added a place for the fish finder...

Awful wreck in my yard this morning

Thanks everyone. I could tell that poor woman died instantly. I'm waiting to hear back from the city about moving that bus stop. Every year or two someone loses control around that curve and jumps the curb. One drove his truck into the church and a guy on a motorcycle died several years before that.

Awful wreck in my yard this morning

This morning a car left the road and hit the tree in my yard after hitting a pole and killing a woman waiting for the bus. He left no skids marks meaning he hit everything at full speed. One wheel landed 8 ft up the tree and the motor and transmission came out of the car. Somehow the driver...

    Quiet at home

I get a lot of them too which I don't answer. I live by myself and not long ago I got several robocalls showing up as my own landline number. At least craigslist found a way to cut out scammers. They charge $5 to list a car now.

    Splashwell

I'd be afraid to be without one since I like tiller boats which have a lot of weight at the rear.

    Not another boat

I've got two in the yard and the boat of a lifetime turns up at an affordable price. So far I managed to stay away from it but no one will buy it. Sheesh. Is this a common syndrome with everyone? Ordinarily I'd set the hook and unload the other two but selling any kind of vehicle around here...

25hp Powerhead on an Evinrude 18hp, Any OMC guys here?

The gasket has the same part number for each but the heads don't. Which would make sense. https://www.marineengine.com/parts/johnson-evinrude-parts.php?year=1970&hp=25&model=25002E&manufacturer=Evinrude&section=Powerhead+Group...

    14ft Lowe v front boat

Maybe a few inches of water can be rolled around to check for leaks so you don't have to fill it up and stress the hull.

    Evinrude 35 vs Etec 40- Worth the upgrade on a 16' V-bottom?

Two 2 stroke 40s in good shape like this one can still be found. It weighs 160 lbs and were made by Yamaha. I bought a tiller handle off ebay and then waited until I found the motor which turned up in Roanoke. I expect it will fly.
