    Tuff coat came out good

I choose Tuff Coat because I got tired of hooking the carpet every time I am in a carpeted boat. The vinyl route would have been my second choice, the Tuff Coat being first because to makes the wood totally water proof and you can always continue to add coats over it in the future without any...

    Tuff coat came out good

The important thing is to prep. I did all wood and aluminum seating and hatches. The key when applying it after the primer of course, is to cross hatch to make sure and the rubber material even. Also, make sure the first coat drys before trying a second or it will lift the first coat.

So I have ripped out and replaced all wood in my tracker v17 . I am now Tuff Coating because I get tire of pulling hooks out of carpet. The question is would it be best to screw down deck then coat over the screws? Or Coat it then screw it down leaving head of screw exposed? The hole I make will...

    Livewell intake 1 inch ID

The hole in my transom for the livewell is 1 inch. All the livewell pumps have a 3/4 inch intake . If I run a 3/4 inch it seems to me it has a better change to leak. Will a 3/4 inch work with proper 3m 4200 around it? Found a 800 gpm livewell pump with 1 inch inlet. All is good.

Is there a need for backing plate for pedestal base?

I am rebuilding a 98 Tracker v17 STILL.:) I am putting new pedestals on. This is going into 3/4 inch. Is there a need to put some sort of backing plate to secure the bolts through the plate? Or will going into the pronged t nuts be fine alone? Thanks

    1988 Bass Tracker V17 Restoration

I go back through these pics from time to time for motivation . I bought a 98 Tracker v17 in Dec of this year while out on medical leave. In January while using a walker I was able to tear it apart. Then I starred at it because I couldnt do much more in my condition. I was released in March...

    RHINO LINING INTERIOR

I am currently restoring a 98 v17 and using tuff coat. I have torn the boat down and just cut a new transom for it. Not a hard job but in the V17 you have to cut the corners after taking off the cap to pull the old one out. Now that it is cooling off I will be putting more time into it.
