Mostly muddy marsh with some sand and stumps here and there in se wisconsin. I'm going to leave the 90 on for the rest of duck season. I've thought about having an 1854 built that can handle the 90 and can always put a mudmotor on if thats the direction i want to go.

Maiden voyage. Half throttle got me into the 40’s. I had a pretty good leak around a rivet That needs to be touched up. Definitely way to much power but had to see for myself. Fun yes. Practical no. Might take it on a hunt just because of its awesome load carrying capabilities. The electric tilt...

Adding pods and moving battery plus gas up front will help. I appreciate your concern and will be safe about it. I can always put the 30 back on if its...

yes pods would be a must. What im really looking for now is advice on transom frame design. I drew something up and was hoping people had some input on it. Do I need that vertical piece on each side or will the top and bottom horizontal piece be ok. 2x4 or 2x6. Was hoping to get material tomorrow.

more than likely the 30 will go back on to sell it. obviously need a longer wider haul for that power. want the transom to be able to hold the weight regardless in case i throw a mud motor back on.

Looking for some advice on rebuilding my transom. I want to make it strong enough to support a 300 pound motor. My neighbor has a tig welder and is willing to help me out. Should I make a template out of cardboard and weld the transom skin first then build the frame? Also going to have to put...
