I don't know which state you live in, but I just had to get a HIN in Mass. I had to have a fish cop come out and inspect the boat, and then the dmv would give me an HIN number. It was a bit of a pain and run around, but there might be an option for you like that where you live if you can't...

I am going to be building a floor soon and am hoping the weight even things out myself. I have been putting my battery and gas tank in as far forward as they can safely when solo for now.

You are a mad man! You get an video of the top speed run :lol: I just broke in my 20hp Tohatsu last week, still only a little over half done, I'm doing it the slow way. Been very happy with the engine though and it has probably more power than my almost 14' boat can handle.

Got the boat in and did a quick loop, will be taking just the wife out soon and spending some more time with it. But it floats,no leaks and is very stable! The cleat in the front lines up oerfect and the one in the rear is a little low. Nevermind it isnt being used, the first mate tethered us...
