i need some ideas .. im clue less. its a big aluminum boat .. it has right now wood flooring. would like to rip everything out and im debeting should i leave the stearing consel in the middel or not. \\ just picked it up with and galvenized trailer 600 bucks ..

right now i got a brand new 8hp mercury 4 stroke .. 2008 model and now im needing more hp just cause the boat will need more i would hate to over power my boat .. will the little motor do its job or will it be over powered.. im clueless

where the riveted ribs are on the bottom and sides. i figured out that the foam in can works great it filles the riibs and keeps leeks if they acure out of the boat and specialy if u use steelflex its going to last.. except if u over do it it might cause problems . just about enought just to...

today i went and picked up 130 lb of aluminum that i will need for my boat .. anyways got some stuff done also on it.

I found a scrap yard where they buy and sell mettals . Found aluminum cheap cheap, im going to get some today aprox 80 pounds to 100. ,). Im excitedfor my project . Whatdo u guys think should i get thicker aluminum sheets. Or thiner for my floor
