Replaced cap for fuel pump/filter where gas was leaking now maintains pressure in line, but was only able to get it started for a few seconds and now not at all. The motor ran ok on the water a couple weeks ago but was a pig to start. halfway through fishing it was worse and worse choking out...

Also what exactly would that part be called? And whats a good site to buy one?

I know for sure i need to replace the part at the fuel filter that's leaking but its also quit starting, i was just curious if that could cause any other issues that would cause that because looking back i think its been leaking and i just didn't put 2 & 2 together. thanks!
