Brands Using Foam Blocks Rather than Sprayed Foam?

Okay, thanks for the info both, It seems to me that, for the kind of 16' ski-fish (wrap windshield with bowrider style seating) boat I'm looking for, sprayed/poured foam under the deck is unavoidable. I'll just might have to someday redo it with foam blocks. Thanks again, Bluega

Brands Using Foam Blocks Rather than Sprayed Foam?

I've been reading about how foam blocks tend to hold up much better than sprayed foam (possibly because the blocks come from precisely climate controlled factories). And I've also heard that sometimes these blocks are easily removable from the boat so that they can be replaced. Does anyone here...

Anyone familiar with Princecraft Pro 16' boats early 2000's?

Weldorthemagnificent, that's very much what I'd like to be able to do, pull the boat right up on rock, but I'm not so sure I'll be able to do that with 16', 90hp, loaded with stuff. Beaching is probably more realistic for me. Do you think the lunds have a sturdier bottom then princecrafts? The...

Those are some big waves for a 16' boat! I will try to steer clear of that year evenrude motor.

16' aluminum family, ski, adventure boat?

I have 2000 lbs towing capacity, though I'm hoping to stay below this given the van will be loaded up too. The mgregor looks nice, though I'm after rear seats too (more of a complete bowrider style seating).

16' aluminum family, ski, adventure boat?

Wow, that is crazy light for an 18' foot boat. It would be just my boy learning to ski getting up on two skis, so not much power required there. Good idea, I think I will contact Princecraft.

Anyone familiar with Princecraft Pro 16' boats early 2000's?

Hi, I'm looking at buying a Princecraft Pro 162, 164, or 166 built in the early to mid 2000's (I'm in Ontario Canada and there are a bunch here). I plan to use it mostly as a skiing and camping trip boat (I like aluminum because it is light and durable). I could get a newer legend for the same...

16' aluminum family, ski, adventure boat?

Hi, I'm looking into getting a 16' aluminum boat mainly to be used as a small family (2 kids, 2 adults, 1 dog) boat for water skiing and camping adventures (not so much fishing). The main reasons I'm choosing aluminum over fiberglass is that I need something light my 4 cylinder van can pull and...
