    I took a pic of it this doesnt show it but it is just a hair above the bottom of the boat.The motor is all the way down on the transom

    I have a 14' grumman deep v with a 25 hp johnson,when at full throttle the boat seems to hop up and down. ive adjusted trim as low as i could ,it helped but still hops. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Best bet pick up a 50 amp breaker @ auto pts store or marine supply. I just bought one this week it cost $6 come right from battery to it then out to what ever else motor ect.mine had markings on it which wire went where

    Splicing 6-gauge wire

    In reading most of the post some are good ,but one way to still use the short wire is to mount a circuit breaker close to the battery and then use a short piece to the battery. This way your wiring will be protected.
