I am going to leave the bench in and put my deck on top of it. i just didnt know if i would lose any structural support by taking those supports out.

I just got a 1980 16ft Lowe semi v that I am starting to redo. I had a question on the bench seat supports. If I am putting in a front casting deck can i remove the supports that go from the side wall to the top of the bench without giving myself any problems down the road?
