    Well I went to look at it and its not 15'-6" its 14'-6"...and the usgs plate was under the carpet...didnt know you could legally do that... Its a 3 person or 740 lbs of total capacity... No bigger than the one I have now...darn. Oh well I will keep working on the one I have lol.

    Replacing leaking rivets???

    So to clarify I did 1 rivet. I wanted to see if the rivets would work for the holes. I have never riveted a boat before. So instead of buying a whole bag of rivets and them not working. I used one of the free ones that came with my rivet gun :-D

    A little more progress lol. All of my old hardware is rusted and I think I am going to have to get the grinder out to remove some of the angles and rusted screws.

    Replacing leaking rivets???

    So I got my new rivet gun :-D It looks like the holes I patched with the screws and rubber gaskets are 3/16" holes. Here are the results. I used an open blind rivet but I am going to switch to the closed rivets for the actual repairs.

    Decking-When and when not to.

    Would 1/2" plywood work for decking horizontal surfaces and 1/4" plywood for vertical surfaces work? I am going to be doing framing out of aluminum or 1x3s & 1x2s Trying to keep the weight down.

    I forgot to mention...the seam that looks to be leaking is near a dent in the hull...can I get the dent out without messing stuff up? You can kind of see it in this pic. Here it is in an old picture circled.
