    24v battery question

    I have a 24v trolling motor and I’m wiring with 8ga wire per the minn Kota recommendations chart. My question: Can I use 8 gauge wire to connect my two 12v batteries in a series or do I need to use a heavier wire gauge to connect my 2 batteries in a series? Thanks.
