nytebyte, I believe the Tohatsu has a 5 year or better warrantee. OOPS just read that Suzuki has now a 5 yr warranty. Also Tohatsu is less weight in comparative hp. to Suzuki. Check it out.

Have you thought about rivet nuts? I used 5/16 or 1/4 20 SS round head bolts with rivet nuts (rivet like units that have screw threads inside, squash down like rivets) on my deck.

Once again I might suggest Bolt Depot.com. They have rivets, blind, closed end, multi-grip. All sizes, all aluminum inc. shaft. good prices & order on line. Good for above water use.
