I have a 5hp 4 stroke Briggs on my 14ft flat. Oil is geeting on top of the piston when I dont start it for a while and to crank it I have to flush the cylinder with gas. What can I do?

:USA1: I have a 5hp 4 cycle Briggs on my 14 flat I am having a problem with oil geting on top of the piston when I dont start it for a while. I have to take out the spark plug and flush the cylinder before I can crank it. Any opinion. :(

I have a 14ft crest liner flat, will my 5 hp briggs 4 cycle push it. I had it on a 12ft fiberglass V last year. I use it on Dalehollow and Barren river lake in KY.
