I was looking to add drink holders to my boat. Being an avid cyclist, I had quite a few plastic and aluminum water bottle cages laying around. Added 3 of them.

I saw post on some forum about going to iboats in the closeout section. I got a $200 cover my 16' for around $50 about a month ago.

I finally finished up what started as a small deck extension. Replaced and carpeted all the floors. Added some seats. Re-did the wiring and added on on-board charger.

Finished up the gun box. I used SS racing pin hood latched for the access panel to the batteries etc.. under the front deck extension.

Added carpet and put the decking on. Installing hatch later tonight. Rest of the flooring to finish and carpet. I think my dog approves. Met up with Indywingmaster this morning through the forum.

I am using a blind for mine right now. Are you going to have flip up blind doors? See you shortly so you can look at what I did on my boat. If I had the skill, I would have gone aluminum. I am sick of sealing wood! Bob

I did a dry fit of everything. Then, after getting in trouble for stinking up the garage, I used the screened in porch once it warmed up to seal all the wood and then did the final install.

After lurking and just beginning to post. Thought I would post a pic of what the new to me boat decking looked like. The other side of the board is painted a nice camo. Obviously they did not do both sides. Numbered it and saved it for a template. Bob

New to me 1996 Voyager Lake Raider 1670WT. Just need to clean it up a bit and replace and expand the decking on the bow. Oh yeah, newbie to the forum.
