    here are a few more pictures. Getting close to putting on the wood, carpet, wiring electronics. We went a little rivet crazy on the building of the front deck, but we have a lot of brackets underneath to keep the aluminum nice and level. A lot of boats I see pre-existing brackets up front...

    Primer question

    yeah, I've seen plenty of folks have awful luck with Herculiner and a few that said it has held up. So if I dont do herculiner, what is the best way to cover up the larger bare aluminum spots with primer and get the sanded spots with primer?

    Hey everyone- So, I have a 14' 1983 Blue Fin tin boat. Took out the floor as it was rotting, and I didn't like the layout. Now that it's out, I have sanded some areas on the inside of the boat to bare aluminum, but just used 220 grit over the rest of the inside. Paint wasnt really chipping...
