Can some give me a link to the "transom ladder" plans? I forget the guys name who made it, but I've got to have one of those, it's the best I've seen for a small boat. [-o<

    Trailer Bow Bracket Question

Try moving the winch to the top of the post and put the bracket under it with a v roller. I'll bet it will work. Get a short piece of chain to use for a safety.

12v Trolling Motor on parallel configuration

    Seat Base

I've seen the seat bases made from some "white cast metal" at Walmart, and some made form "stainless steel". I'm assuming the SS is the best but, both have the plastic bushing that you push the stem into. I've read that there is a lot of problems with this bushing wearing out quickly. Is this...

    Got my trolling motor.

I got a transom mount "Minn Kota 55lb" , the book says I need a 60A breaker. Where can I get one? It also says I need a battery with no less than 105 amp hr rating. The deep cycle batteries I've looked are rated in "cranking amps" and "minutes @ amps". I'm so confused, but I know where to go...

    Lead Acid Battery Question!

I'm going to put my batteries under the bow seat in my 14' Sea Nymph. Question, should I try to shim them up to level? The boat is not level when it's on the water or the trailer. Will one side of the plates get dry and damage the battery if I don't level it?

    Charging

Yes, I can buy male plug (which is cheaper than an on-board charger). What I was wondering is, if the wire would be big enough. It would be easier than opening the battery box to hook up. :)

    Prop?

Can I take a file and sharpen the edge of my prop, it has no nicks but is getting pretty dull. Is this a bad idea or should I just replace it?

    Stupid Question

Thanks a lot bAcKpAiN, I've been scratching my head wondering how you did that, because I couldn't see any screws on your seat tops. My boat is a 14' foot Sea Nymph just like yours, so I was watching for your pic's. There are plenty of great ideas on "Tinboats" , but every model of boat presents...

    Stupid Question

But, after I carpet it, I don't want the screw heads to be seen. I guess I'll have to cut a small hole in the carpet (for each screw) work through the hole and screw each one down and then close the hole in the carpet with some glue.

    Depth Finder Question

I read the installation instructions but they didn't answer my question. Can you shorten the wires between the display and the transducer, is it matched like a thermacouple?
