They are very effective. Follow the instructions. Then make sure you use a plastic pollish on occasion. Makes them stay clean longer. I have used the kit from O'riellys and Autozone, both work good. Lonny

If you have any truck (tractor trailer) shops near you. Just ask if they will use an impact on it. I work on tractor trailers, and now and then I have taken a few stuck hitches apart. Or like the guys said you can use heat, just go slow and you can save the ball and nut. Lonny

never heard of it. But I am always willing to try something different. Now they do sell dead minnows or shiners at wally world in a bag. Not sure if they are shiners or not. Dropping a spider type rig with multiple offerings sounds like a good idea though. Lonny

Maybe some kind of a modified carrier for you reese hitch if you have one. You could set the transom on the carrier. run a strap or rope to the bow, then to the truck. No farther then you are going should be doable. Will try to load a pic. But something like this, maybe extend it out a bit...

I am not sure what the guys here use. But if it were me, I would check your automotive stores. Autozone, Oriellys, Napa and the like. Look at their door edge trim. I know they have a chrome type may have a black or white not sure. It just slips over the edge and has a glue strip that helps it...
