Hello. I finally got the leaks fixed and was going to go to the lake today but we are supposed to get 2-2-1/2" of rain today. Anyway, can I mount a 7" pedestal directly to the bench or should there be some reinforcement. Thanks.

I had a chance to finish today and No Leaks! (at least from the inside out) I replaced all the bottom bench rivets, 40 of em. My son and I are going to the lake Mon. I am still going to carry a bucket. Thanks everyone!

What is the best tool to sand epoxy smooth? Thanks.

i should learn to follow directions. Always looking for an easier softer way. I ordered the 1/4" closed end blind rivets, bought the HD tool, got the LocTite Marine 2 part epoxy and even bought a new drill bit. Thanks for all your help.

Can Truss Rivets be installed with a HD 1/4 tool or do they need to be bucked? The guy at JayCee said I need Brazier style with a special head and bucking tool, now I'm confused as heck. The only thing i.ve ever riveted is seamless aluminum gutter when I was a kid.

The wire brush wouldn't get the stuff off so I got out the angle grinder with a rust removal disc. I guess I started gettin into it. Thanks for all your help.

Thanks for your help. The video was good and I got started, but while grinding the concrete off of the rivets(outside of hull) the the tops got flattened and when I drilled I missed center on about 1/2 of them. Now I got some snowman and figure 8 holes to seal up. Is there hope or should I just...
