    Monark 18fter

    Been hemming and hawwing about buying a 1991 18ft Monark which needs a floor and probably a transom. Comes with a serviceable trailer but no motor. Price is at $500. Does it sound like a decent deal? Or would the costs outway any savings?

    Wood transom ??

    May be a stupid question but will a 1 1/4" transom made with 1/2 and 3/4 plywood be as strong as one made with two sheets of 5/8 plywood?

    1987 Lund Predator Transom Rebuild

    Got started on the transom rebuild today. The 60 hp outboard is hanging from an engine hoist. Removed the end caps and transom cap which was cracked in half.     Aluminum plate

    When I rebuild my transom, would the addition of an 18"x24"x1/4" aluminum plate to the outside help transfer the weight of the motor and extend the transom life??

    Transom repair-Need Help

    I need to repair the transom of my 1986 Lund Predator. It has a wood transom, aluminum outer and inner skin. The wood does not go completely to bottom of the boat. The inner skin ends where the wood ends. I would like to use the Seacast for the repair but closing off the bottom may be a problem...
