well , the 9.25 X 10 dropped the revs to 6,420 at WOT. Against the wind it was running 23 to 24 mph , with the wind 25mph. A bit scary in the turns on Mattaponi . Had to slow down a bit for most of them , pucker factor was up there.......... :)

I put the same mini jacker on my 16' W/a 25 and lost 2 mph. running a new solars 10x13 prop. I can tell the prop is ventilating a bit however it doesn't "blow out " on turns. I'm sure I need to drop it down a hole. It does get on plane faster and stay on plane at a slower speed.

Also make sure the water tube is going in correctly, I've had the best luck with the motor vertical, not tilted. Good luck.

If it's running nicely like you said, I would not pull the carb. If you wanted to clean it out some,I would add some seafoam or the equivalent in the fuel. Say one ounce to the gallon or whatever it says on the can and run it and enjoy. almost forgot, if its been sitting for a while, change...

Im running a 25 evinrude with a 6 gal on a 16 ft , and run all day. I do carry an extra 3 gal tk if I'm running big water though .
