First of all, I bought a motor. It's a 1984 15 hp Evinrude. It looks as though it had been sitting at the bottom of a lake for two years and some brave soul went to town on it. He had bought it from the person who rebuilt it originally. I had him start it up and it ran wonderful. I did a compression test and it showed 95 on top and 100 on the bottom. The idle speed adjustment was not working so you could kill the motor by turning the throttle too far down. But overall it seemed like a bargain at $550. [QUOTE="WMcGrath, post: 314626, member: 11363"] Alright, It's been a month since I last posted. I haven't given up or forgot about this site. I've had a crazy month and I've been fitting in working on this boat where ever I could. All things considered, I've actually made some decent progress. I've been snapping pictures along the way.
