Hello everyone newbie here. Just bought this 14ft Starcraft deep v and trailer for $350. I have a few questions about this boat to begin with. It doesn’t have the tag on it saying what the weight limit and hp rating is. The registeration doesn’t state which model the boat is. Also I couldn’t find a tag on the boat with the serial number. Boat is pretty solid but the caulking or whatever where the seems are is in pretty bad shape and the hull has a leak on the bottom of the bow. I did fill the boat with some water to check for leaks and the one on the bow was the only one. I do plan on taking it to the lake to just at least back it in the water with some weight in it to check for more leaks. Just to be sure. I’ll through up some pictures for you all and hopefully I can get some help with what to use to stop the leak. It’s not a terrible leak but a leak. My plans for it are putting a new transom on it, painting it inside and out and putting a full floor in it. I’m just not sure if it originally had a floor or benches. I don’t want benches but I was just curious. All wood in the bot will be marine plywood and cedar framing. Sorry for all the questions but this is my first time doing this.
