Today's the first day of winter. We had another 6" of snow overnight so I got to hone my shoveling skills again this morning. I am going to have to modify the discharge chute on my snow blower because the snow piles are already so high the blower can't throw the snow over them. We have at least three more months of snow here. It's a little unusual for there to be so much snow so early but I guess I could be living in Buffalo or in the upper peninsula of Michigan where they really get snow. The most I've ever had to live with was a 10'+ snowfall total when I lived in Duluth during the winter of 1968-69. I'm getting too old for this line of work... The boat won't be coming out any time soon either!
