Hello all;
Went to look at a late 1970's 25hp Chrysler outboad (didn't buy it) & ended up with a old 5hp Johnson twin cylinder outboard with built in tank that according to marineengines.com is a 1946-1949 model (TD-20) The serial number as best I could make it out is #602144. Anyway, what I need help with is; where I can get points, condensors & coils from? Will parts from other years than 1946-49 work (I.e. was there much difference in the ignition systems of let's say 1950-55)?
