Hello, I am new here and want to say thanks for all they great information i have found using the search function :) I bought a used 98 98 Tracker v17 tournament with a Mercury bigfoot 60 on it. I was going to just replace the flooring and carpet. Unlike most things I do I have the need to bring it back to new condition. So I gutted it and starting from nothing. I had a question in regards to the Quicksilver 3000 throttle controls. Since it is very faded and rough I want to replace it. I have found they dont make it anymore and different cables are needed for the new 4000 model. Does anybody know about the wiring harness? Is it different . Or is there a better option to use the existing cables as they look fairly new. Plan on Tuff Coating the entire inside of the boat.
