I plan to completely mod the boat (with progress photos), and want to start with stripping the paint off the entire boat. I decided to do a little test tonight and it didn't turn out so well! I will try to post some pics of the rig tomorrow in the AM.
Hello everybody! :D I have just joined the site, but have been reading all the posts for a couple of days. I have to admit that this is one of the coolest sites I have ever been too!! I have recently bought a jon (trailer included) that's seen its better days. The boat is in good shape, just needs a lot of TLC. It's a 14' 8", 48" wide, duracraft that I was able to pick up for $200 (I got a GREAT deal!!). I plan to completely mod the boat (with progress photos), and want to start with stripping the paint off the entire boat. I decided to do a little test tonight and it didn't turn out so well! So I am asking for any and all advice on the most effective way to strip paint.... I have never done it before so any advice is greatly appreciated. I will try to post some pics of the rig tomorrow in the AM.
