Guys, For what it's worth, you might want to search on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist for a side console. I scan regularly, and often get them for $50-$100. I keep several on hand so I have them as needed. The ones out of pontoons are sometimes nice, too, but are often bigger. I cut them down sometimes, if needed. Guys around here often buy a jon and remove the console, and switch to a tiller for duck hunting. Here is one I just installed in a 16' Starcraft Mariner. Not a super wide boat, but enough for that little console. BEFORE: AFTER: No, I didn't paint the boat or console or dress it up. I decided I wasn't going to keep it, so I just hooked everything up, tested it and sold as-is. A guy in his 20's bought it and LOVES the boat. He and his buddies are virtually living on it this summer. Nice to see someone who really uses their boat, instead of just letting it sit and rot. He was talking about doing a vinyl wrap. If he does, I hope he sends pics. It's a solid boat. He can do a lot with that canvas.
