I would put my money on a bad ground. try running a separate ground to the light to see if it straightens out. I have seen this to many times in the past. Good Luck! Dave
You can make one out of a section of PVC pipe and a couple of "T" fittings cut down. Use a tie down strap to secure to the trailer. I use this on a 16FT w/20 HP Johnson, works great! Dave
I'm surprised no one has replied. My personnel feelings would be to leave what you are currently doing alone. Never Say Never! Messing with the truck wiring could turn into a nightmare, either buy a 7-plug and wire it for the trailer or continue to use the adapter. The choice is up to you, if...
You should be in the MOD section,1 down from this one. They have all the answers and pictures and idea's you will need to get your boat done. Good Luck Dave.
Welcome aboard! As far as learning to use the trailer, may I suggest watching some utube videos on launching and retrieving. Also if it is a tilt trailer, there is one on there to show how that works. Enjoy, I looks like a nice setup.
I agree with the previous posts and suggest checking out some local boat dealers. They get boats all the time as trade ins and you may find the right deal and get a small warantee to boot.
I used Restore on my decks and floor and its great. Non-slip and can be washed. I've had it for a couple of years now and would use it again if needed. Enjoy!
Nice feature to have but ask yourself, Is it worth it to you?. I think its a good price providing its in good shape and the motor runs well. Power trim is something that can be added if needed. If you can get the price down a little it could pay for the trim package. Good Luck, Dave

I have a 1987 Monark 16/44 and it is a great boat. Some pictures are in order here so people can maybe see how it is put together. Mine was an open boat when I got it. I decked it out ,front and back. The frame work is screwed to the ribs of the boat and the deck is screwed to the frame. All...
