I just got done installing a flat all aluminum floor on my 1648 semi v alumacraft jon boat.(I know I need to post the pics) Anyway, I need to know what you guys think about what I should do about painting the aluminum sheet floor. I do not want carpet. Let me know what you all think. Will try to post pics, start to finish of the project later.

Thanks

I'd say definitely avoid the carpet at all costs. Use a textured paint of some sort, or you will find yourself in the drink, however.

I always wanted an aluminum deck too.
Did you make it tight enough that NOTHING can get down below it? :p
Wood is OK, and I can pick it up and clean out under it.

We got some paint from Home Depot a looooonnnnnggg time ago. It was a non-skid paint and it's still good.
A powder hue with a good texture for bare feet or shoes.
The Paint on the metal is still sticking, and on the wood, the paint came off with the wood.

Carpets catch fish hooks and stuff.
