I was looking into getting a motor for my jon and I figured why go out and buy some expensive new outboard or a used one I need to constantly fix when I could get a nice longtail kit or even this AMAZING looking 6.5hp outboard kit that just bolts up to a lawnmower engine.
Thing is, and I mean this as politely as possible, I don't see a lot of interaction from Mud-Skipper on the forums since they've become sponsors. They had one contest in which after six months a winner was never declared, and I don't see a lot of posts from them or from others who have used their products.
So I ask, has anyone purchased or assembled one of their systems that has pics or video or just a good testimonial? I'd like that before I go spending $500+ on them.
