Big Foot Trolling Motor Switch??

Advertisement says for transom mount motors?

Anyone ever use it on a bow mounted motor, with wireless remote? I realize I would have to be careful about speed settings and making sure motor is OFF before storing it.

If it's already on a remote, why do you need a foot switch? As a back up to cut down on accidentally hitting the remote while casting or pulling fish in?

If you're gonna wire one in to any motor above say a 30 lb, I highly recommend wiring it to a solenoid that breaks the main power. The switch comes wired with 14 gauge, but my motors are wired with 8 to handle amperage.
