Capacity and h.p. plate

Does anyone know how to obtain a new capacity and h.p. tag for a boat. I Have a 17' 1989 tracker that I'm working on and I dont see one anywhere. The boat was modified before and it may have been removed then. I live in N.C. and I would like to install this plate on my new center console when I'm done. Thanks.

I would try to talk to Tracker. I was able to get a new one for a Robalo for insurance reasons.

Check your regs on homebuilt boats. States are different. In my state if its an older boat that does not require liability insurance the regs get really loose. You may be able to reg it as homebuilt.
