does anyone have any idea how accurate the voltage meter on fishfinders are???

I just want to know if I can use this as a way to keep up with charging my battery before and after trips.... I used the battery today for about 3 hours of trolling and fishfinder and it only went down to 11.9amps..... think thats accurate or at least close???

Voltage State of Charge
12.6+ 100%
12.5 90%
12.42 80%
12.32 70%
12.20 60%
12.06 50%
11.9 40%
11.75 30%
11.58 20%
11.31 10%
10.5 0%

Avoid discharging the battery below the 40% level whenever possible.(alot of people I talk to never discharge even that far...maybe not below 70%)

This is a real good battery read.
I really have to find me a couple of those 6 volt L-16 batteries,up to 380Ah;a couple of those in parallel 760Ah....WOW.

thanks for the link... thats some good information...

I am still wondering however, how accurate the fishfinder reading is???

Mines pretty accurate and I have a cheap finder. In reality, it doesnt have to be the best, just close. close enough to tell you to plug the charger in.
