mounting foot controlled troling motor on V hull boat

can anyone that has had to mount a foot controlled trollin motor on a v hull boat please post pics. need a lil help with ideas

Here's my setup. I just cut out a piece of plywood and mounted it up front. Attached the trolling motor to it and you'll be good to go. Hope this helps.

I don't have a good picture like that, but it's roughly the same. Mine is made out of a "found" road sign :---) and then carpet glued to match the boat.

Found a pic, not the greatest but you can see. It's riveted down to the gunwale.
