My Old Motorguide

I have a motorguide model FOUR. 28# Thrust and there is a piece that looks to be broken off. The piece that's broken is red in color on the left side of the pedal. Any ideas what this would be?

:twisted: Selector switch. High speed, normal(controlled by the round selector knob), Constant on.

Thanks fish devil. I thought that but I didn't know if they made them with the continuous switches then.
