Sat. Night (5/9/09) on the Delaware Bay - JamMan Report

Did my annual trip with Captain Chris and Dockrat on the Jamman. Along for the ride were 5 others - Todd, Randy, Randy3, Steptoo (aka Gary) and Ethan - oh yeah,m Ethan was there (aka Leibs).


Headed out at 6 pm into a light wind and flat seas. We were on the hook by 6:40 and the lines were in. Covered up with Doggies of course!

A squall blew through and dumped rain:

And ended with a rainbow:

The crew was ready as Dockrat smashes clams:

And Steptoo does the Step2:

Well, at the end of every Rainbow is . . . .. a gold colored giant Drum fish:

Ethan caught both fish - a 65lber (Citation Fish!!!!) and a 20 lb (eating fish!!!!)


Little drum (female) had an empty stomach, but the big male was full of spider and green crabs
