Trolling Motor

Does a 36lb. thrust trolling motor have enough power to push a 14 ft. Alum. V- Hull boat.

I used a 50lb for a little bit, pushed about 400-500lbs decently... i'd look at gettin something a little more powerful if thats all you plan on using to push you!

It will push it without a doubt. More thrust will help move the boat with more force, therefore really helping you in rough water or windy conditions.

It will suit your boat just fine, but most will tell you to get the maximum amount of thrust that you can afford.
