I've been shooting quite a bit, looking forward to getting in a stand. September 3 is opening day for urban archery, I hope I can find someone to let me hunt, if not, it'll be October 1 before I can get in the stand.
I have some family in upstate New York. He has sent me pics of hunting and fishing there, and it seems to be real nice, but dang if it don't get cold up that way. :beer:
Another voter for power pro line and the palomar knot. I have used spiderwire braid and didn't like it at all. Tried the power pro and haven"t looked back.
Around here we don't call them dobson flys.. Just flying helgramites... I LOVE them, for bait that is. Have caught everything in the river with them, from perch to musky but like was said earlier smallies will absolutely tear them up. I have had LOTS of bites from them and yes they will...
