With the 5/15 primer didn't you say they have to wait 5 hours then line it WITHIN 15 hours? Looks like they might have missed their window.

I was at Lowes yesterday and they had the Rust -Oleum self etching primer in the spray cans for about $4.49 a can. Not much of a savings over Wal Mart, but they do have it AND its cheaper...every little bit helps. That brings up another point. I have seen a ton of items in the Wal Mart...

I have two boys...12 and 15 now....but years ago I bought them their first "real" rods/reels (Disney, Nickelodeon, cartoon themes didn't qualify). I bought two 5'6" Shakespeare Ugly Stiks and and I put an old Zebco 33 on one and an old Zebco 404 on the other. Those Ugly Stiks are pretty tough...

Had an old jon "given back" to me but the original trolling motor had been stolen, so the guy gave me a Johnson JBF4Y 12/24 foot control trolling motor to replace it. Tried googling, etc... but theres not alot of info out there...except I did found quite a few very positive comments in general...

Yea, it does seem pretty stout, and there are LOTS of other stories that the boat was part of. It was kinda funny that dad and doc (his friend) had a selection of 4 other boats to pick from (all bigger, fancier, and significantly more expensive) and they used this jon probably 75% of the time...

Ethanol gas is terrible for carbs and fuel systems that weren't designed to use it...(I don't think its good for those that were either). Check out this web site...you can probably find a station close to you that has non-E gas. We have a few in Montgomery. https://pure-gas.org/ I REFUSE to use...
