    New boat, need pods?

    I have tunn.. and pods and cavatation plate(Shallowblaster).But what I see is everything you add creates drag and slows mine down 2/3 mph.And creates turbulance I have never been able to get my transducer to work at anything but idle(just no good place to mount it back there in clean water)...

    Bimini top length for 16' alweld.

    I got one 4bow on my 16'60' ..its 8' x85" its tall enough I can stand under and I'm 6'2..Really like the shade Its a little tuff to fish out of. But we live with that in summer cause the Sun is really cooking here on Tx coast..When its down its to rear and as close to motor as can get and motor...

    All sounds great BUT I mounted WW cutting board on My fish cleaning station in direct sun and after a few years they cracked and failed..I figger it was UV ruining plastic (china)..I used Starboard(high dollar) but its been there 3or4 y and still no problem..My 2C

    Good idea or waste of time?

    Most consider a 36 narrow ...32 is canoe width..If your a small guy with good balance ..it will be OK Kinda like getting on unicycle and rideing it..Other than that any project is a learning experience..I'm a salt water so I'm a little harder on Boats

    If its flat in area where your going to put ..I have had good luck centering pump and glu/screw tape on 8x8 piece of 1/4 alum plate with rounded corners.Just set it on bottem in rear..
