I have tunn.. and pods and cavatation plate(Shallowblaster).But what I see is everything you add creates drag and slows mine down 2/3 mph.And creates turbulance I have never been able to get my transducer to work at anything but idle(just no good place to mount it back there in clean water)...

Most consider a 36 narrow ...32 is canoe width..If your a small guy with good balance ..it will be OK Kinda like getting on unicycle and rideing it..Other than that any project is a learning experience..I'm a salt water so I'm a little harder on Boats

If its flat in area where your going to put ..I have had good luck centering pump and glu/screw tape on 8x8 piece of 1/4 alum plate with rounded corners.Just set it on bottem in rear..

All I can say in SW the ones I had or seen do good to make a Year..and were talking 150 to 300 dollar units

I have a 1660 boat with simular set up.Pontoons tunnel and 50 hp..I have never found a spot that it works except on troll M up front..Good luck

Have you tried a wheel cylinder Hone take it slow...Also there are the drain plugs with T handle that you insert and tighten up have you tried that..Probably have ..Muffler shops use a ( not sure whats called) I call it flaring tool..That they stick in pipe a few inches and tighten it and it...

Going out on limb without seeing .But if those are corrosion holes its almost impossible to fill in cause the metal is so thin ..Most time a metal patch over the whole area and a weld around the parimiter...Tig is great but a good mig welder that does lots alu..can make short work of it
