    15 Yammy Weird Noise

Not yet, haven't had time to look at it. Called the guy who did the work and asked him to listen to the video. He said he would and then never called back so I will try to do what I can to fix it on my own or find a new mechanic to take a look. When I figure it out I'll let you guys know.

    15 Yammy Weird Noise

I put the same viscosity gear oil back in it after draining and it's still making the noise. Prop seems to fit just fine and spin freely in neutral. I will tear it down this week and inspect the lower unit just to make sure nothing is wearing abnormally. Thanks for the tips.

    15 Yammy Weird Noise

I drained the gear oil this morning and it was in fact full, and there was no metal or water in the oil. Any other ideas?

I opened the top bleed screw and stuck a piece of straw in to see if it was full and it appeared to be. I will drain it completely tomorrow and check for any metal.

    15 Yammy Weird Noise

I dropped my 1989 15hp Yamaha off to get serviced/checked out before duck season. The guy replaced the prop, changed the lower gear oil and replaced a few fuel lines. He also cleared a small blockage by applying some reverse air pressure on the weep hole. When I received it back he said that it...

    1989 Yamaha 15ESF

Thanks for your reply. Perhaps I am over reacting and the engine is cooling properly. I can put my hand on the head for quite some time and it is hot but not burning. There is a steady stream coming out the hole but it seems to taper off quite a bit as time goes on. If I rev the engine the...

    1989 Yamaha 15ESF

My small yamaha outboard appears to be over heating. The last time I ran it it shut off in me and wouldn't restart and when I felt the head it felt very hot. So I changed the water pump housing and impeller/pump kit/spark plugs and thermostat. Running the outboard on the stand after all of these...

Dgram36's 1852 Lowe Olympic Duck Mod

Thanks, I used pop rivets to attach the floor directly to the ribs and the foam under the floor provides support between the ribs.

It's just a cover that I made and secured the grass to so I take it when I'm running.

Just a few birds. We've had a few good trips and killed some geese as well. Seem to finally be moving now with the cold weather! Unfortunately my job keeps me from the water six days a week or there would be more blood!

    Pweisbrod's 79 18' mr pike DUCK conversion/rebuild

That'll do it. I'm thinking about a scissor for mine. Might be doing a Lil mud buddy style with some 3" burlap ribbon. I have to trailer a long ways so I was worried about using a fixed blind and raffia cause sometimes it doesn't hold up as long. Seasons right around the corner!
