Flipping for rocks in the rivers of North Georgia

It a fun time. When you hook a green Striper it's game on. Those rods had 65lb braid and one had 125lb braid with 40lb flouro leaders. Just like flipping for bass under docks and in brush basically... Fun time!

They are not cheap for sure. I paid 200.00 for this one. It has a hi low function switch high is great to fish with all night. As far as holdin a Q-beam and driving and using moonlight it works well in smooth waters. Get on the etowah River it's all hands on the wheel and throttle and the moon...

Anyone use LED Light Bars? Post pics!

I put one rigid industries SRQ 2 on the front of my Boat to get home after fishing in the evening. It's LED and puts out 3030 luma. It is super bright. I got the driving series so it would spread out and cover from bank to bank. It still cast ahead 1,200 feet also. If you need more than this...

I think I have finally got all the river essentials...

In this Georgia summer heat that's the time to be on the rivers. The cold water helps keep you cool at night when the sun is down. Plus there is no other boats out after dark!

I think I have finally got all the river essentials...

I'll post a pic of my clear safety/bug glasses too...lol I have a pair I leave on the boat, light on or not at night time..and not wise to smile! I have the remote as well. It makes river fishing a lot easier.with no heavy anchors to lower/raise. The anchor and light definitely are a must if...

    Let's talk about fishing!

Been River Striper fishing in Ga. Kids love the jet boat ride and catching fish. This is my youngest daughter. Loves to reel them in but won't hold one for nothing... I'd say I've been 90 percent successful...lol

I think I have finally got all the river essentials...

Added a Rigid SRQ-2 driving beam LED. It is the hi/low version. It definetly burns holes in the dark. Cast light about 1,200' and lights up the river from bank to bank. It's like turning on the sun for those knee knocking midnight runs through the rapids and rocks. This is truly a must have if...

    Got shot at this afternoon...

I hear there is a ramp similar that was gated due to a bad crowd around here on an awesome river. They must have something to hide!

Live Shad Cam Housing for the Sony mini cam

Housing was cheap. Old parts in a bucket. Camera was around 300.00. Less then a gopro black but better lense. Too much to sacrifice to the fish gods :LOL2:

Live Shad Cam Housing for the Sony mini cam

It does float but not high in the water. I put the noodle in the cone end and it allows the camera end to stay submerged so it will not allow bubbles in front of the l nose or have a bobbing effect on camera. I did think about th came not being a good idea if I did loose it from a mishap. I may...
