I'm not an expert but I have never heard of an outboard having a clutch unless that's something with newer motors but I don't think so should just need to remove the pump and put the lower unit back on

Yes i did clean the carbs very well but I think I'm gonna pull them back off again and run them through my ultrasonic cleaner because Im still questioning myself on them and yes I know what you mean by it doesn't take much had a machine at work once that wouldn't idle and it had an eyelash in...

I think if you can get the rivnut to hold in the metal the method I had posted would work I tried it after I posted it and couldn't get the rivnut to hold

You can also do rivnuts without a special tool just need a fully threaded bolt the size and thread as the rivnut and a nut and washer that fits the bolt just thread the nut onto the bolt until it touches the head of the bolt then put the washer on the bolt below the nut then tread the rivnut on...

Fortunately I have aluminum and welding equipment but my issue with that is it isn't flush with the floor and the reason I need it to be flush with the floor is because I don't want a tripping hazard when I'm fishing solo with my folding chair

Seen this too many times to remember loosen the cap on the tank bet it will run all day I have even seen fuel tanks cause this with the carbs full of gas and the more gas that is in the tank the less time it will run before it shuts off
Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
Make sure that the breather on fuel tank is working run it till it shuts off open the cap and pump the bulb leave the cap loose and see if it runs

I am not sure how it looked from the factory but i am sure more pictures would help me and others to give you a better idea but as for the hardware i would replace all of the non stainless hardware with stainless its is only going to get harder to change the more it rusts
