    well i got the tape measure out the width measures 36" at the transom and transomt to bow lenght is 13' 10" so i guess the boat is a 1436 oh pulled this out of the small lake by my house didn't measure but I'm gonna guess at least 12"

    Basic question on grounding....

    ya electrolysis and you have not made the entire boat a ground plane so any wires that rub through or if you drop a batt cable. etc ...ZAP dead short to ground say goodby to anything electronic without a fuse.
