You had me for a second, Johnny! I think the pic is reversed, the winch handle is on the wrong side, and I don't know that boat model well, but I would guess the 'passenger's' windshield would be taller and the drivers would be the shorter one.

Good tip, Rich! I have a slightly different way of doing it, this is how we used to lay really large areas of carpet in commercial buildings when gluing to concrete: 1. cut your carpet to fit exactly how you want it with no glue. This is a dry fit. 2. Make sure it is laying exactly where you...

Don't use adhesive. Either screw it or just test it out and see if it will just lay in there with no fasteners. Some folks do this and it's really easy to remove if you want to replace carpet or whatever. Depending on how it's cut it might sit in there just fine. I would definitely not put 4"...

@vintin I'd love to have bare aluminum, that's my favorite too! But, there are about a thousand holes in this boat above the water line from the previous owner, so it would look horrible if polished

I have a Stihl FS110 and I'm extremely happy with it, not sure why you'd need more power than that model. I use it with all of the available attachments regularly and it's fantastic. I haven't used the echo models, so I don't have any input there, but I'm a big fan of the Stihl.
