I don't think so.
It does have an NMEA connection to my charplotter.
The chartplotter is removed from it's base when the boat is out of the water.
That breaks the connection there.
Bottom line I have to get an On/Off switch by the battery!
Ok, "short" was the wrong choice of words.
"Draw" would be more like it.
The radio is off. But when I hook up my power cables to my battery I get a small arc.
When I remove the fuse to the radio and hook up to the main cable to the house battery there is no arc.
If I have to I will put the...
Hello,
I'm setting up a new to me boat.
One of the first things I did was replace the fuse block with a Blue Sea Screw Terminal Blade Fuse Block.
I didn't track down each wire I just switched everything over.
THEN, I newly installed my VHF on it's own run directly to the fuse block.

Mutha nature dropped a tree on me during the blizzard.
Needless to say I'm not a happy camper.

I e-mailed LUND last year asking what to use to shine up my boat.
Their reply was nothing. They said the oxidation protects the aluminum.
What do I know,,,
Hello,,

I have a sliderG5 mounted on a small pedestal.
I just purchased a Humminbird 798ci HD Si :D
I want to mount it in a way that gets it up a bit so I can see it.
I was thinking of using a piece of 4'' or...
Oops, I thought I posted the finished boat.
It came out great!

Livewell: Can only fish two people with the livewell in the boat. Very tight. If I take the wife and two dogs out I...
Hello,
I have a 14' Lund with a 25hp.
I am going to be renting a place next summer on Cape Cod. (Ma). The rental is right on the water. There are not any moorings at the rental. And unfortunately the nearest boat ramp is probably 6 or so nautical miles away.
I have seen people temporarily...
